what is proxy setting? It’s like a disguise for your internet traffic. Instead of connecting directly, you route through another server.

Configuring it’s easy:
- Windows: Settings > Network > Proxy
- Mac: System Prefs > Network > Advanced > Proxy
- Mobile: Wi-Fi settings > Modify Network > Proxy

It *might* slow you down, especially if the proxy’s far away. For casual browsing, nah, you don’t need it. But for streaming or privacy, yeah.
