Are Plain Proxies Still Reliable for Basic Web Scraping? or What Are the Best Use Cases for Plain Pro

Plain proxies are fine if you’re scraping super casually, but don’t expect miracles. Sites are way better at detecting them now.

If you’re serious about scraping, invest in a proxy service with built-in rotation. I use Storm Proxies, and it’s been a game-changer.

Otherwise, at least use a VPN alongside your plain proxies to mix things up.
