Wow, thanks everyone! This makes so much more sense now. I didn’t realize how much aggregate data is used in everyday stuff like Netflix and Uber.
I tried playing with Excel pivot tables like some of you suggested, and it’s way easier than I thought. Still gotta figure out how to avoid missing important details, though.
Quick follow-up: how do you decide when to use aggregate data vs. looking at raw numbers? Like, is there a rule of thumb?
