IP blocking works... until it doesn’t.
For small-scale stuff? Sure, block those sketchy IPs. But for a real DDoS? Nah. You’ll just end up with a huge blocklist that slows down your server.
Try combining it with rate limiting and a CDN. AWS Shield is also worth looking into if you’re on AWS.
