I tried xbox homeproxy a few months back and honestly, it was hit or miss. Sometimes my ping dropped by like 20ms, other times it just added extra latency.
If you're gonna try it, make sure to test different server locations. Closer isn’t always better—weirdly, a mid-range server gave me the best results.
Also, check out ExitLag as an alternative. It’s more polished and less sketchy than some random proxy setups.
