"Hey guys, can someone explain what is proxy settings?

Like, i keep hearing about it but not sure how it actually works.

From what i gather, it's like a middleman between your device and the internet? But why would i need that?

Also, when should i even use them? Gaming, privacy, work stuff?

Kinda confused lol. Any simple breakdown would be awesome!

Thanks in advance "

"Yo, quick question—what is proxy settings and why do they matter?

I messed around with them once but no clue what i was doing.

Does it just hide your IP or is there more to it?

And when would you actually need to tweak these settings?

Pls explain like I’m 5 haha. Cheers!"

"What is proxy settings and how do they work?

Seriously, i see the option everywhere but never really got it.

Is it for security? Speed? Both?

And when’s the right time to use one?

Would love a dumbed-down version if possible.

Thx!"
