"Can someone explain the proxy settings definition in simple terms?"
Hey guys, total noob here trying to wrap my head around this.
So like, what *is* the proxy settings definition exactly? From what I gather, it’s basically a middleman between your device and the internet? But how does it *actually* work?
Like, does it just hide your IP or is there more to it? And why would someone even need to tweak these settings?
Sorry if this sounds dumb, but I’m just starting out and all the tech jargon is melting my brain lol. Any ELI5 versions would be *chef’s kiss*.
