Is my proxy server slowing down my internet? How can I fix it? or Why is my proxy server not working

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys! I tried bypassing my proxy server, and my internet was way faster—so it’s definitely the culprit.

I’ll test some of the tools mentioned (ProxyBench looks handy) and maybe switch providers. Quick q: anyone know if rotating proxies are faster, or should I stick with static ones?

Also, gonna tweak the settings like some of you said. Appreciate the help!
