"Can a Proxy Check Really Tell If My IP Is Masked?"
Hey guys, quick question—how reliable is a proxy check for spotting hidden IPs?
I’ve used a few tools that claim to detect proxies/VPNs, but sometimes they miss stuff. Like, my VPN still slips through sometimes lol.
Are these checks just looking at basic stuff like blacklists, or do they dig deeper? And if they fail, what’s the point?
Also, anyone know if a proxy check can tell the *difference* between a VPN and a proxy? Or do they just flag both as "suspicious"?
Kinda curious if it’s worth relying on these or if there’s a better way. Thx!
