Is a Public Proxy Server for Privacy Really Safe to Use? or Can a Public Proxy Server for Privacy Act

Public proxy servers for privacy? Meh. They’re better than nothing, but not by much.

The big issue is trust—you have no idea who’s running the server or what they’re doing with your data. Some are legit, but most are sketchy.

If you’re just trying to bypass geo-blocks, fine. But for real privacy, use a VPN or Tor. ExpressVPN is my go-to.

Also, check out privacytools.io for better alternatives. Public proxies are kinda outdated in 2024.
