For a free us http proxy, I’ve had decent luck with CroxyProxy. It’s web-based, so no setup, but speeds are hit or miss.

If you can swing $5/month, StormProxies is way better. Low latency and actually stays connected.

Just don’t bother with ProxFree—total waste of time.
