We switched from Asana to ClickUp last year because of the asana pricing. For small teams, ClickUp’s free plan is way more generous—timelines, custom fields, even some automations.
The onboarding was smoother too, ngl. Asana’s interface felt clunky after a while.
Downgrading wasn’t an issue when we tried, but tbh, we never looked back. Maybe check out ClickUp’s pricing? Their $5/user plan might fit better.
