If you’re open to alternatives, check out Monday.com. Their basic plan is $8/user and includes timelines + automations. Way better value than asana pricing for small teams imo.
We left Asana because the free tier was too limiting, and Monday’s onboarding was stupid easy. Their templates saved us hours.
No idea about downgrading Asana, but Monday lets you pause your plan, which is nice.
