Is MAC Address Modofication Safe and Effective for Privacy? or How Does MAC Address Modofication Work

Tried MAC modofication for a while, and here’s the tea: it’s situational.

Coffee shop Wi-Fi? Maybe helps. Home network? Your ISP doesn’t care about your MAC anyway.

Tools:
- Linux: `macchanger -r` (randomize)
- Windows: Technitium (but reboot required, ugh)
- Android: Requires root, not worth the hassle IMO.

If you’re paranoid, just use Tor.
