How can I set up my own proxy with YouTube to bypass restrictions? or Is it possible to set up my own

Wow, thanks for all the replies! Didn’t realize setting up my own proxy with YouTube would be this tricky.

I tried Squid Proxy like some of you suggested, but YouTube throttled me after a few hours. Maybe I’ll give Shadowsocks a shot next.

Quick question—anyone know if YouTube outright bans accounts for this, or just blocks the IP? Don’t wanna lose my channel.
