How does ip rotation work and why is it important for web scraping

Hey everyone!

So I’ve been diving into web scraping lately, and I keep hearing about *ip rotation*. But like, how does it actually work?

From what I gather, ip rotation basically means switching between different IP addresses while scraping to avoid getting blocked. But how often should you rotate them? And do you need proxies for it?

Also, why is ip rotation so important? I’ve seen sites ban my scraper after a few requests, lol. Does ip rotation help with that?

And like, are there free ways to do ip rotation, or do you gotta pay for good proxies?

Kinda confused rn, so any tips would be awesome!

Thanks in advance!
