Wow, thanks so much, everyone! This really cleared up the socks4 proxy meaning for me. I didn’t realize how limited it was compared to socks5. I think I’ll give socks5 a try since I need UDP support for gaming.
I checked out ProxyMesh and FoxyProxy like some of you suggested, and they’re super easy to use. I’m still figuring things out, but this was a huge help.
One last question—does socks5 work with all apps, or are there still some limitations? Thanks again, y’all!
