Oh no, that sounds like a nightmare! The "session expired facebook hacked" thing happened to me last month. First thing I did was change my password and enable two-factor authentication (2FA). It’s super easy to set up in the FB settings.
Also, check your active sessions under Security and Login. If you see any weird devices or locations, log them out immediately.
