Ford F150 battery died after 2 years – normal or something wrong?

My F150 did the same thing and the cause was a parasitic drain from a hardwired dashcam. Check the draw with a multimeter on the negative cable after the truck has slept an hour. Anything above about 50 milliamps is worth tracing, and the SYNC module can be a culprit on some years.
