Hey, I had the same issue with the facebook session expired message.
What worked for me was disabling two-factor authentication temporarily. Go to FB settings > Security > Two-Factor Auth and turn it off. Log in, then turn it back on.
Also, make sure your app permissions are enabled. Sometimes FB needs access to storage or location to work properly.
