Is Using a Proxy Server for Payment Gateway the Best Way to Enhance Security and Reliability?

Hey everyone,
So I’ve been thinking about this whole *proxy server for payment gateway* thing. Like, is it really the best way to boost security and reliability? I mean, I get that it can hide your IP and stuff, but does it actually make payments safer?

I’ve heard some people say it’s a game-changer, especially for businesses handling tons of transactions. But then others are like, “nah, it’s just extra hassle.”

What’s your take? Does using a proxy server for payment gateway actually help prevent fraud or downtime? Or are there better options out there?

Also, anyone got experience with this? Like, does it slow things down or cause issues with the gateway itself? Just curious cuz I’m kinda on the fence about it.

Thanks in advance for any insights!
