omg i was in the same boat until i found z-library (before it got taken down lol). but i’ve heard some mirrors are still up? idk if it’s safe tho so proceed with caution.
another one i use is standard ebooks. they take public domain books and format them nicely. not a huge selection but def worth a look if you’re into classics.
also, always use a vpn when downloading from free book spots. better safe than sorry!
