So, I’ve been trying to scrape fb group data for a project, and man, it’s been a rollercoaster. 2023 seems to have brought some new challenges with FB’s updates. Anyone else feeling the struggle?
I’ve tried a few tools like Octoparse and Phantombuster, but they’re hit or miss. Sometimes they work, other times FB just blocks everything. 😅
Anyone got tips on what’s working now? I’ve heard some folks use custom scripts with Python (BeautifulSoup, Selenium), but I’m not super techy, so that’s a bit intimidating.
Also, is it just me, or is FB cracking down harder on scraping fb group content? Like, even basic stuff is getting flagged.
