Hey everyone,

Sooo, is anyone else having major issues with mac chrome protical lately? I’ve been trying to figure out what’s going on, but it’s driving me nuts.

For some reason, pages keep loading super slow, and sometimes they just don’t load at all. I’ve tried clearing cache, restarting, even reinstalling Chrome, but no luck.

Also, noticed that mac chrome protical seems to crash randomly when I’m on video calls or streaming. Super annoying, especially when I’m in the middle of something important.

Anyone else dealing with this? Or maybe someone knows a fix? I’m not super techy, so any help would be awesome.

Thanks in advance!

Hey! I’ve been having the same issue with mac chrome protical lately. Super frustrating, right?

I found that disabling some of my extensions helped a bit. Maybe try that? Also, check if your Chrome is up to date. Sometimes the older versions act up.

If that doesn’t work, you could try using a different browser like Firefox or Safari temporarily. Not ideal, but it might save you some headaches while you figure it out.
Ugh, mac chrome protical has been a nightmare for me too! Pages take forever to load, and it crashes randomly.

I switched to Brave browser for a bit, and it’s been way smoother. Not sure if it’s a Chrome issue or something with macOS, but Brave seems to handle things better.

Also, try resetting your DNS settings. Sometimes that fixes weird loading issues. Just google “how to reset DNS on mac” and follow the steps.
Same here! mac chrome protical has been acting up for weeks.

I noticed it gets worse when I have too many tabs open. Maybe try limiting your tabs or using a tab suspender extension like The Great Suspender. It helps free up memory.

Also, check your internet connection. Sometimes it’s not Chrome but your Wi-Fi acting up.
Yo, mac chrome protical has been driving me insane too!

I found that turning off hardware acceleration in Chrome settings helped a lot. Go to Settings > System > and toggle off “Use hardware acceleration when available.”

Also, try running a malware scan. Sometimes random stuff messes with your browser. I use Malwarebytes, and it’s pretty solid.
I feel your pain! mac chrome protical has been super glitchy for me as well.

One thing that worked for me was switching to the Chrome Beta version. It’s more stable for some reason. You can download it from the Chrome Beta website.

Also, make sure your macOS is updated. Sometimes the system updates fix compatibility issues with Chrome.
Hey everyone, thanks so much for all the suggestions! I tried disabling hardware acceleration and cleared my browsing data completely, and it’s definitely running a bit smoother now.

I’m still having some issues with mac chrome protical crashing during video calls, though. Has anyone else tried the Chrome Beta version? Does it help with stability?

Also, I’ll give Brave a shot if the crashes keep happening. Thanks again for all the help—you guys are lifesavers!
mac chrome protical has been a mess lately, no doubt.

I’d recommend checking your Chrome flags. Sometimes tweaking those can help. Go to chrome://flags and try enabling/disabling a few things like “Override software rendering list” or “GPU rasterization.”

If all else fails, try using Opera GX. It’s designed for performance and has a built-in RAM limiter, which might help with the crashes.
Same issue here with mac chrome protical. It’s been super slow and crashes all the time.

I switched to Microsoft Edge (yeah, I know, but it’s actually decent now) and it’s been way better. Plus, it uses the same Chromium engine, so all your Chrome extensions work.

Also, try clearing your browsing data completely, not just the cache. Sometimes old cookies mess things up.
