Hey guys, anyone else getting the "WoW realms unavailable" message right now? I was in the middle of a dungeon run, and bam, kicked out. Tried logging back in, but no luck.
Checked Twitter, and seems like a bunch of people are having the same issue. No official word from Blizz yet, tho. Servers acting up or maintenance they forgot to announce? Idk, but it’s annoying af.
Anyone got more info? Or is it just my luck that this happens when I finally have time to play? lol.
Also, side note—anyone else’s launcher acting weird? Mine’s been slow all day, not sure if it’s related to the WoW realms unavailable thing or just my internet being trash.

Yeah, same here. Got the "WoW realms unavailable" message mid-raid. Super frustrating. I checked Downdetector, and it’s spiking for WoW right now. Seems like a server-side issue.
Blizz usually posts updates on their Twitter or forums, but nothing yet. Maybe give it 30 mins and try again? Launcher’s been slow for me too, so it’s probably related.

i use wowstatus.io to check server status—it’s pretty reliable. rn it’s showing a bunch of realms down. might wanna bookmark that site for future issues.
Yep, WoW realms unavailable for me too. Happens every time I finally get a free evening to play lol.
I’d recommend checking Blizzard’s official forums or their Twitter (@BlizzardCS). They usually post updates there. Launcher’s been acting up for me as well, so it’s not just you.
Same issue here. Was in the middle of a mythic+ and got booted. Super annoying.
I’d suggest using the Blizzard app to check server status. Sometimes it’s more accurate than the launcher. Also, try restarting your router—could be a weird connection issue.

I use IsItDownRightNow to check if it’s just me or a wider issue. Right now, it’s showing WoW as having problems. Hopefully, Blizz fixes it soon.
Thanks for the replies, everyone! I checked Downdetector and wowstatus.io like some of you suggested, and it’s definitely a server-wide issue. Still no word from Blizz, though.
I tried restarting my router and the launcher, but no luck. Guess I’ll just wait it out. Anyone know if this usually takes long to fix? Or should I just call it a night? lol.
