Anyone else getting 'something went wrong please try again' on Instagram? How to fix it?

omg thank you all so much for the suggestions!! i tried switching to data and it worked like a charm.

i also cleared my cache and updated the app, so hopefully it stays fixed.

still weird that it’s worse on wifi tho. has anyone figured out why that happens?

also, i checked [down detector](https://downdetector.com/status/instagram/) and it looks like it’s a widespread issue.

ugh, i’ve been getting the "something went wrong please try again instagram" error all day.

i tried everything—restarting, reinstalling, clearing cache—but nothing worked.

then i switched to data and it was fine. so weird.

maybe it’s an issue with your isp? idk but it’s so annoying.
