ugh, is it just me or is ig being super glitchy today? i keep refreshing but it’s stuck on the loading screen.
tried restarting my phone, switching to data, even reinstalled the app… no luck.
seen a few ppl on twitter saying the same thing but idk if it’s a widespread outage or just my wifi acting up.
anyone got fixes or is it just a waiting game? 😩

same here!! ig won't load no matter what i do. checked downdetector and it’s spiking rn so def not just you.
try clearing cache if you’re on android, that sometimes helps. otherwise, just gotta wait it out ig 🤷♂️

i saw someone say turning off vpn worked for them? idk if you’re using one but worth a shot. also, isitdownrightnow.com is pretty reliable for checking outages.

if you’re on iphone, try offloading the app instead of deleting it (settings > general > iphone storage > instagram > offload app). keeps your data but reinstalls the app fresh. worked for me last time this happened!
update: tried the browser trick and it worked!! still can’t get the app to load but at least i can check my dms lol.

i checked twitter and downdetector—tons of ppl are having the same issue. seems like a server thing.
pro tip: try logging in on a browser instead. sometimes the app bugs out but the site works fine.

my friend said switching to a different dns (like google’s 8.8.8.8) helped them, but idk if that’ll work for everyone.
otherwise, just gotta wait it out and hope insta fixes it soon 😩
