Hey y’all,
Anyone else hitting that annoying proxy error lately? Been stuck on it for like 2 days now and it’s driving me nuts.
Tried clearing cache, restarting, even reinstalled the app but no luck.
Some forums said to check firewall settings, but that didn’t help either.
Anyone got a fix or workaround? Or is this just me?
Thx in advance!
(Also, sorry if this has been asked before—did a quick search but didn’t find anything recent.)
Cheers!
Hey! I had the same proxy error issue last week. What worked for me was switching to a different network.
If you’re on Wi-Fi, try using mobile data or vice versa. Sometimes the network itself blocks certain requests, causing the proxy error.
Also, check if your ISP is having issues—sites like DownDetector can help.
Hope this helps!
Yo, been there! The proxy error is such a pain.
Have you tried using a VPN? Sometimes it bypasses whatever’s causing the issue. I use NordVPN, and it’s been a lifesaver for stuff like this.
If you don’t wanna pay, there are free ones like ProtonVPN, but they’re slower.
Hey! Not sure if this’ll help, but I fixed my proxy error by disabling my antivirus temporarily.
Sometimes it blocks connections and causes the error. Just remember to turn it back on after testing!
Also, check if your browser has any proxy settings enabled accidentally. Chrome has a “system proxy settings” option under settings > system.
Same issue here! Proxy error drove me crazy for days.
I ended up resetting my router, and that fixed it. Just unplug it for 30 seconds and plug it back in.
If that doesn’t work, maybe try updating your router’s firmware. Sounds like a hassle, but it’s worth a shot.
Hey, I had this exact problem last month.
Turns out my browser extensions were causing the proxy error. Try disabling them one by one to see if any are the culprit.
Also, Firefox has a built-in network settings reset tool. Might be worth a try if you’re using it.
Proxy error? Ugh, hate those.
Have you tried using a different browser? Sometimes it’s browser-specific.
Also, check if your system clock is correct. Weirdly, that can mess with connections and cause proxy errors.
Proxy errors are the worst, man.
Have you tried flushing your DNS? Open Command Prompt and type “ipconfig /flushdns”.
Sometimes old cached DNS records cause the issue. It’s a quick fix and worth a shot!
