Hey y’all,
Anyone else using Brave browser and noticing Amazon keeps asking for bot check? Like, every time I try to log in or search something, it’s like “prove you’re not a bot.”

It’s super annoying, lol. I’ve been using Brave for a while now, and this just started happening recently. Is it just me or is this a thing now?

I mean, I get it, security and all, but c’mon Amazon, I’m just tryna buy stuff. 😅

Anyone figured out a fix or is this just how it’s gonna be with Brave browser Amazon asks for bot check?

Yeah, I’ve been having the same issue with Brave browser Amazon asks for bot check. It’s super annoying, especially when I’m in a hurry to grab a deal. I found that disabling Brave Shields for Amazon helps a bit, but it’s not a perfect fix.

You could also try clearing your cookies or using a different search engine within Brave. Sometimes that resets whatever flag Amazon is using to trigger the bot check.
omg same!! i thought it was just me. i’ve been using brave for ages and this just started happening. i tried switching to chrome for amazon and it works fine, but i don’t wanna give up on brave.

i read somewhere that amazon might be flagging brave’s privacy features as suspicious. maybe try whitelisting amazon in the shields settings? idk if it’ll work but worth a shot.
This is a known issue with Brave browser Amazon asks for bot check. Amazon’s system seems to flag browsers with strong privacy settings as potential bots.

One workaround is to use a VPN. I’ve been using NordVPN, and it’s reduced the bot checks significantly. It’s not perfect, but it’s better than dealing with captchas every time.
ugh, i feel you. it’s so frustrating! i’ve been dealing with this for weeks now. i tried disabling brave’s fingerprinting protection for amazon, and it kinda worked? but i don’t like compromising on privacy just to shop.

maybe amazon needs to update their bot detection system. it’s 2023, c’mon!
Thanks for all the suggestions, y’all! I tried disabling Brave Shields for Amazon, and it worked for a bit, but then the bot checks came back. I’ll give the VPN and private window tricks a shot next.

Has anyone tried reaching out to Amazon support about this? I wonder if they’re even aware it’s happening. It’s such a pain, especially when you’re just trying to shop.
Hey, I had the same problem with Brave browser Amazon asks for bot check. What worked for me was switching to the “Aggressive” tracking protection mode in Brave Shields. For some reason, it reduced the bot checks by a lot.

Also, make sure your browser is updated. Sometimes older versions trigger more security checks.
This happens to me too! It’s so annoying. I’ve noticed that if I log in to Amazon first thing when I open Brave, it doesn’t ask for the bot check as often.

But yeah, it’s definitely a thing with Brave’s privacy features. Amazon probably thinks we’re all bots lol.
I’ve been using Brave for a while, and this bot check thing is driving me nuts. I tried a few things, and what worked best was disabling the “Block Scripts” option in Brave Shields for Amazon.

It’s not ideal, but it’s better than dealing with captchas every time. Hopefully, Amazon fixes this soon.
Same issue here! Brave browser Amazon asks for bot check is so frustrating. I’ve been using a workaround where I open Amazon in a private window with Brave Shields turned off. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done.

Also, try clearing your cache and cookies. Sometimes that helps reset things.
