"Are plain proxies still reliable for basic anonymity and scraping?"
yo, been using plain proxies for a while now, mostly for simple stuff like scraping and staying kinda anonymous.
but lately, i’ve been getting blocked more often. are they even worth it anymore? or should i just switch to residential/datacenter?
i get that plain proxies are cheap and easy, but are they still doing the job in 2024? or am i just wasting time?
anyone else still rocking plain proxies? how do you avoid blocks?
