Are Shoe Stock Levels Rebounding or Still Struggling Post-Pandemic?

Hey everyone! 👋
So, I’ve been wondering... are shoe stock levels finally bouncing back after the whole pandemic mess? Or are they still kinda struggling?

I remember a while back, it was *so* hard to find certain sizes or styles bc shoe stock was just all over the place. Like, you’d check online and half the stuff was outta stock. 😩

Has anyone noticed if it’s gotten better recently? Or are we still dealing with low shoe stock in some places? I’m trying to cop some new kicks, but I don’t wanna deal with the whole “backorder” thing again lol.

Also, do y’all think brands are doing better with managing their shoe stock now? Or is it still a bit of a gamble? 🤔

Curious to hear your thoughts!
Hey! Yeah, I’ve noticed shoe stock levels are *way* better now compared to the pandemic chaos. I’ve been able to find most sizes and styles online without too much hassle.

Some brands like Nike and Adidas seem to have figured out their supply chains better. But tbh, smaller brands or limited drops can still be a gamble.

If you’re looking for specific kicks, I’d recommend checking StockX or GOAT. They’ve got a ton of options, and you can even track prices to see if it’s worth waiting.
Honestly, it’s hit or miss depending on the brand. I’ve seen some sites like Foot Locker and JD Sports restocking pretty consistently, but others are still struggling.

If you’re into sneakers, I’d suggest following restock accounts on Twitter. They’re super helpful for getting alerts when shoe stock updates happen.
I feel you on the backorder thing—it’s the worst! 😩 But yeah, things are def improving. I’ve been using the app Snkrs for Nike drops, and it’s been way easier to cop lately.

Also, Zappos has been solid for casual shoes. Their inventory seems pretty stable now.
It’s better, but not perfect. I’ve noticed some styles still sell out fast, especially if they’re hyped.

If you’re looking for a specific pair, I’d recommend setting up notifications on sites like Finish Line or Champs. They’ve been pretty good about restocking lately.
I think brands are doing better, but it’s still kinda random. Like, I’ve seen some shoes restocked within weeks, while others are still MIA.

For tracking shoe stock, I’ve been using the app Sole Retriever. It’s been a lifesaver for finding restocks and avoiding resale prices.
Tbh, I’ve had mixed experiences. Some sites are fully stocked, while others are still a mess.

If you’re looking for a specific size, I’d recommend checking out eBay. A lot of sellers have new pairs in stock, and you can sometimes find deals.
Wow, thanks for all the tips, everyone! 🙌 I didn’t even know about some of these apps and sites, so I’ll def check them out.

I tried Snkrs for a recent drop, and it was way smoother than I expected. Still missed out on the pair I wanted, though. 😅

Do y’all think it’s worth waiting for restocks, or should I just bite the bullet and go for resale? I’m kinda torn.
It’s def gotten better, but I’ve noticed some brands are still struggling with popular sizes.

I’ve been using the site Sneaker Politics for drops, and they’ve been pretty consistent with their shoe stock updates.
I think it depends on the shoe. Like, general releases are easier to find now, but limited editions are still a pain.

If you’re into sneakers, I’d recommend checking out Stadium Goods. They’ve got a solid inventory, and their shipping is fast.
