Subject: Can someone share a clear IPv6 address example for better understanding?
Hey folks,
I’m trying to wrap my head around IPv6 addresses, but all the docs I’ve seen are kinda confusing.
Could someone drop a simple *ipv6 address example* to help me visualize it? Like, how does it look in real use?
I know it’s longer than IPv4, but the colons and abbreviations throw me off. Maybe something like `2001:0db8:85a3::8a2e:0370:7334`? Is that even correct?
Also, how do you shorten it properly? Seen some with double colons (:
and got lost lol.
Thanks in advance!
