Hey guys,

So I was browsing some old comics and anime, and I vaguely remember this one saga with a puppeteer character? Like, they controlled people or something creepy like that.

But for the life of me, I can’t remember *what saga has puppeteer* in it. Was it Naruto? Bleach? Some indie manga?

Anyone got a clue? Maybe it’s not even a big series, just something niche.

Also, if you know other sagas with puppeteer themes, drop ‘em here! I’m kinda into that vibe rn.

Thanks in advance!

(Also, sorry if this has been asked before—my search skills are failing me today lol.)
Oh man, the first thing that comes to mind for *what saga has puppeteer* is definitely Sasori from Naruto!

He’s this creepy Akatsuki member who literally turns people into puppets. Super dark but so cool.

If you’re into indie stuff, check out *Dorohedoro*—it’s got some wild puppet-like magic too.

Also, try searching on MyAnimeList with tags like "puppet" or "mind control." Helps narrow it down!
Yoo, you’re probably thinking of Sasori in Naruto Shippuden.

Dude was OP with his puppet jutsu.

But if you want more puppeteer vibes, *Hunter x Hunter* has Kalluto Zoldyck who uses paper puppets. Not exactly the same but still fits the theme.

Also, maybe *Jujutsu Kaisen* with Mahito’s soul manipulation? Kinda puppet-adjacent lol.
For *what saga has puppeteer*, Naruto’s Sasori is the obvious pick, but don’t sleep on *Bleach*!

Szayelaporro Granz kinda puppeteers his clones/followers in a weird sci-fi way.

Also, *Chainsaw Man* has the Doll Devil—super creepy puppet stuff there.

Pro tip: Use AniDB’s advanced search for tags like "puppet master" or "mind control."
Sasori from Naruto is the GOAT puppeteer, but if you want something less mainstream, try *Puppet Master: Sakon*!

It’s an old manga/anime all about puppets and murder mysteries. Super underrated.

Also, *Hell Girl* has some puppet-like vengeance themes.

For searching, Google "anime with puppet characters reddit"—tons of threads pop up!
Yo, thanks for all the replies! Sasori was totally who I was thinking of—how did I forget him??

Def gonna check out *Karakuri Circus* and *Puppet Master: Sakon* too.

Also, big thanks for the search tips! MAL’s tags and AniDB saved my life lol.

If anyone’s got more obscure puppet anime, drop ‘em—I’m diving deep into this now.
Bro, *what saga has puppeteer* is 100% Sasori’s arc in Naruto.

But if you’re looking for niche stuff, *Karakuri Circus* has insane puppet fights.

Also, *Mononoke* (not the Ghibli one) has a creepy puppet episode.

MAL’s tag system is clutch for this—just filter by "puppetry" or "dolls."
Not sure if this counts, but *Death Note* has Light controlling people like puppets lol.

For actual puppets, Sasori in Naruto is the classic answer to *what saga has puppeteer*.

*Tokyo Ghoul* also has some body horror that feels puppet-ish.

Try searching "anime puppet master trope" on TV Tropes—it’s a rabbit hole!
If you’re into *what saga has puppeteer*, Naruto’s Sasori is the big one, but *Magi* has some puppet magic too!

Also, *Black Butler* has a doll arc that’s pretty eerie.

For a deep cut, *Requiem from the Darkness* has puppet-themed horror.

Anime-Planet’s recommendation engine is great for finding similar vibes.
Sasori in Naruto is the obvious pick, but *what saga has puppeteer* could also be *Shinsekai Yori*!

The Fiends in that show are basically puppets of the system.

Also, *Higurashi* has some doll/puppet symbolism if you squint.

For searching, try "anime with puppet masters" on YouTube—surprisingly good recs there.
