Thanks for all the replies, folks! Super helpful.

I tried pairing duckduckgo proxy with Privacy Badger like some of you suggested, and it’s definitely better. Still getting some slowdowns, but at least the tracking seems reduced.

Anyone know if tweaking browser settings (like disabling WebRTC) makes a big difference? Might give that a shot next.

Also, yeah, some sites are still blocking it—kinda annoying, but I guess that’s the trade-off.

Duckduckgo proxy is a decent option if you’re just dipping your toes into privacy. It’s not the fastest, and some sites will fight it, but it’s a step up from nothing.

I’ve used it alongside Firefox + strict tracking protection, and it’s been alright. Still, for heavy-duty privacy, Tor is the way to go.
