Anyone still using mtggoldfish proxy for playtesting? I remember it being super handy for trying out decks before committing to buying cards.

I still use mtggoldfish proxy all the time for testing janky brews before dropping cash on real cards. The quality’s fine for sleeved play—just don’t expect high-res prints.
For legality, as long as you’re not selling them or using them in sanctioned events, you’re good. Kitchen table? Zero worries.
If you want alternatives, check out MPC (Make Playing Cards) for higher-quality proxies. A bit pricier but worth it if you want something that feels real.

Nah, I’ve moved on from mtggoldfish proxy. The proxies are serviceable, but the site’s UI feels outdated.
These days, I use Tabletop Simulator for playtesting. It’s a one-time purchase, and the modding community has every MTG card imaginable.
For paper proxies, check out Proxymtg on Etsy—way better quality and still cheap.
