Okay, what the actual heck is going on with reddit logging into other accounts randomly? This just happened to me—opened the app and suddenly I’m in some old throwaway I haven’t used in months.
Anyone else getting this?? It’s creepy af. Like, is this a bug or some weird security flaw? I didn’t even click "switch account" or anything.
And no, I’m not sharing devices or anything sketchy. Reddit logging into other accounts without asking feels like a major yikes.

Try using a different client like Apollo (RIP) or Boost. Third-party apps handle sessions better, IMO.

Check if you’ve got any browser extensions messing with cookies. Also, reddit’s been doing weird A/B tests lately—maybe it’s some "feature" they’re rolling out.

Reddit logging into other accounts without permission is a huge privacy red flag. Even if it’s a bug, it shouldn’t happen.
I’d recommend changing your passwords and revoking old sessions. Better safe than sorry.
Lol this happened to me mid-scroll. One second I’m on my main, next second I’m in some cringe account I made in 2018.
No fix, but solidarity. Reddit’s code is held together by duct tape at this point.
