"Can Someone Help Me Determine Who Owns an IP Address?"
Hey guys, kinda new to this whole networking thing but I need to figure out how to determine who owns an ip address. Got some weird traffic hitting my server and wanna know who’s behind it.
I’ve tried a couple of those "IP lookup" sites, but they only give me the ISP, not the actual person/company. Is there a better way? Or am I stuck unless I file a legal request or something?
Also, how accurate are these tools anyway? Like, can I even trust the info they spit out?
Any tips or tools you’d recommend to determine who owns an ip address? Appreciate the help!
