"What’s the Best Way to Get Off of Google Shopping? Any Tips?"

Hey y’all, I’m so done with Google Shopping rn. 😤 My products keep showing up there even tho I don’t wanna use it anymore.

Tried pausing campaigns, but some listings still pop up. Like, how do I *completely* get off of google shopping? Do I gotta delete my Merchant Center account or what?

If anyone’s been through this mess, pls share how you did it. I’m losing my mind over here lol.

(Also, if there’s a way to do it without nuking my whole account, that’d be ideal. Thx!)
Ugh, I feel you! Getting off of google shopping is such a pain.

I had the same issue and finally figured it out. You gotta go into Merchant Center and remove ALL your product feeds. Just pausing campaigns isn’t enough—Google still pulls data from old feeds.

Also, double-check your website’s structured data. If you have product schema markup, Google might still scrape your stuff. Tools like Google’s Rich Results Test can help you spot lingering markup.

Hope that helps!
Yo, been there! To fully get off of google shopping, you might need to nuke your Merchant Center account.

But before you do that, try this:
- Go to Merchant Center > Products > Feeds and delete EVERYTHING.
- Then, revoke API access if you’re using any third-party tools.

If that doesn’t work, yeah, deleting the account is the nuclear option. Sucks, but it’s the only way sometimes.
Hey! You don’t necessarily have to delete your Merchant Center account to get off of google shopping.

First, make sure all your campaigns are paused AND removed. Then, go to “Product Data” in Merchant Center and set everything to “Excluded.” That should stop new listings.

For old ones, use the “Diagnostics” tab to see why they’re still showing. Sometimes it’s a delay or cached data.

Also, check out Feedonomics—they have tools to manage feeds if you’re still stuck.
lol Google Shopping is like a clingy ex.

To get off of google shopping, I had to:
1. Pause all Shopping campaigns (obvi).
2. Remove all product feeds.
3. Wait like 48 hrs bc Google’s slow af.

If stuff still shows up, try submitting a removal request in Merchant Center. It’s tedious but works.
If you’re trying to get off of google shopping, don’t forget about your Google Ads linked account!

Even if you pause Merchant Center, your Ads account might still be pulling data. Unlink them or pause Shopping campaigns in Ads too.

Also, scan your site for any Google Shopping pixels or tags. Sometimes they’re hidden in plugins.
omg y’all are lifesavers! Didn’t realize the product schema was still lurking on my site.

Just ran the Rich Results Test and found a ton of old markup. Gonna clean that up and see if it helps.

Also, gonna try the feed deletion + unlink thing. Fingers crossed!

If it doesn’t work, might just nuke the account lol. Thanks for the tips!
Pro tip: Use the “Account Status” page in Merchant Center to see what’s still active.

To fully get off of google shopping, you might need to:
- Delete feeds
- Unlink Google Ads
- Remove product schema from your site

It’s a process, but it’s doable. Hang in there!
