hey folks! so i was just browsing and realized some sites still use http while others have https... whats the deal with that?
like, i know https has that little lock icon and all, but is it *really* that big of a deal? apparently, http v https is all about security—https encrypts your data so hackers cant snoop on your login deets or credit card info.
also, google kinda hates http now? so if u care about SEO, https is pretty much a must.
anyone else still running http? or am i the only one late to the party lol.
