If you’re using an anonymity proxy, make sure it’s SOCKS5 with encryption. HTTP proxies are useless.

Pair it with a VPN and you’re golden. Also, disable location services in your browser.

Wow, didn’t realize how much leaks even with a proxy. Tried ipleak.net and saw my DNS was exposed—yikes.

Gonna switch to a paid VPN + proxy combo like some of you suggested. Also installed CanvasBlocker—thanks for the tip!

One last Q: anyone know if using a VM helps with fingerprinting? Or is that overkill?
