"Does extratorrents still work, or should I move on?"
hey guys, been using extratorrents for years but lately it feels kinda sketchy. dead links, random pop-ups, and the site goes down all the time.
is it just me or has extratorrents gone downhill? i’m wondering if it’s even worth sticking around or if i should just jump ship.
anyone found a solid alternative that’s not full of malware? or is extratorrents still the go-to for y’all?
pls share ur thoughts, i’m tired of wasting time on broken torrents lol.

Yeah, extratorrents has been pretty unreliable lately. I switched to 1337x and haven’t looked back.
Less spammy, way more active uploaders, and the mods actually keep the site clean.
If you’re worried about malware, just stick to verified uploaders and read the comments before downloading.
Also, qBittorrent + a VPN is a must these days.
extratorrents is basically dead at this point. Half the links are fake or just lead to ad-filled garbage.
I’ve been using TorrentLeech as an alternative—it’s private but worth the effort to get into.
Otherwise, RARBG is still solid if you want something public. Just avoid the sketchy pop-ups lol.
Honestly, extratorrents isn’t what it used to be. The downtime alone is enough to make me wanna quit.
Try LimeTorrents or Zooqle—both have decent libraries and fewer dead links.
And yeah, always use a VPN unless you wanna risk your ISP sending you angry letters.

I’ve switched to using Jackett + Sonarr/Radarr to automate my torrenting. Sounds complicated, but it’s a game-changer.
If you wanna stick to direct sites, though, try Nyaa.si for anime or The Pirate Bay (but be careful with the mirrors).

extratorrents is pretty much done, dude. Dead links, fake files, and way too many ads.
I’ve had better luck with FitGirl Repacks for games and RARBG for everything else.
Also, uBlock Origin is a lifesaver for killing those annoying pop-ups.
