"Does Proxy Foxy Chrome Actually Work for Accessing Blocked Sites?"
Hey guys, been using proxy foxy chrome for a while now to bypass some geo-restricted stuff. Works *most* of the time, but lately it’s been hit or miss.
Anyone else noticed it’s slower sometimes? Or just me?
Also, does it still unblock sites like Netflix or is that a lost cause now?
Kinda sketchy about the security tho—no leaks so far, but idk if it’s 100% safe. What’s your experience?
PS: Free alternatives you’d recommend if proxy foxy chrome isn’t cutting it anymore?
Thx!
Yeah, Proxy Foxy Chrome used to be solid, but lately it’s been laggy for me too.
For Netflix, nah, it’s pretty much dead. They’ve cracked down hard on proxies.
If you want something faster, try Windscribe or ProtonVPN—both have free tiers and decent speeds.
Security-wise, I’d say it’s *okay*, but not the best. If you’re paranoid, go for a paid VPN like Nord.
I’ve had the same issue! Proxy Foxy Chrome works but it’s super inconsistent now.
For geo-restricted stuff, I switched to UrbanVPN—it’s free and unblocks way more sites.
Speed? Meh, but it’s better than nothing.
Also, if you’re worried about leaks, just run a quick test on ipleak.net. Peace of mind, y’know?
Honestly, Proxy Foxy Chrome is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s lightning fast, other times it just times out.
Netflix? Forget it. They’re too good at blocking proxies now.
For alternatives, check out Hola VPN. It’s peer-to-peer, so speeds vary, but it’s free and works for most basic stuff.
Just don’t use it for anything super private—security’s not their strong suit.
Proxy Foxy Chrome was my go-to for a while, but yeah, it’s gotten slower.
If you’re just trying to bypass blocks, Opera’s built-in VPN is surprisingly good. No setup, just turn it on.
For security, though, I wouldn’t rely on it. Paid options like ExpressVPN are way safer.
Free stuff always has trade-offs, man.
Dude, same. Proxy Foxy Chrome used to be fire, but now it’s kinda meh.
Netflix is a no-go. They’ve got proxies on lockdown.
Try TunnelBear—free version has a data cap, but it’s super easy to use and way more reliable.
Also, their security is legit. No leaks so far for me.
Proxy Foxy Chrome is decent, but yeah, the speed dips are annoying.
For unblocking sites, I’ve had better luck with Hide.me. Their free plan is solid, and speeds are consistent.
Security-wise, it’s better than most free options. Just don’t expect military-grade encryption lol.
Thanks for all the suggestions, guys!
Tried Windscribe and it’s way faster than Proxy Foxy Chrome for me. Still can’t get Netflix, but eh, expected that.
Gonna test out TunnelBear next—heard good things about their security.
Anyone know if these free VPNs log your data tho? That’s my main worry now.
Not just you—Proxy Foxy Chrome has been flaky lately.
If you’re looking for free alternatives, Hotspot Shield’s free tier is surprisingly fast.
Netflix? Nah, they’re onto most free proxies now.
For security, I’d say it’s *fine*, but if you’re doing anything sensitive, just pay for a VPN.
