Yup, it’s a mess. My selenium scraping youtube setup:
- Custom Chrome flags (--disable-blink-features=AutomationControlled)
- Realistic browsing patterns (watch a vid for 30s before scraping)
- Cloudflare bypass cookies (google it)

Still gets nuked after ~100 reqs though. YouTube hates scrapers.
