Swichyomega used to be my go-to, but lately I’ve switched to Proxy SwitchySharp. It’s way lighter and doesn’t break with every Chrome update.

Still, if you’re tied to swichyomega, try disabling other extensions—sometimes they clash. Also, check the GitHub page for unofficial fixes.
