"Is tpbproxy still the best way to access TPB safely?"

Hey guys, been using tpbproxy for a while now to get around blocks, but lately it’s been kinda hit or miss. Sometimes it loads fine, other times it’s just dead slow or doesn’t work at all.

Anyone else noticing this? Or is it just my ISP being extra shady?

Also, are there better alternatives now? I’ve heard about mirrors and VPNs, but tpbproxy was always my go-to ‘cause it’s simple.

If it’s still the best, any tips to make it more reliable? Maybe changing the proxy URL or something?

Thanks in advance!
Yeah, tpbproxy has been acting up for me too lately. I switched to using a VPN (like ProtonVPN or Windscribe) + the official TPB onion site. Works way better and no speed issues.

If you're set on proxies, try tpbproxy.io or unblockit.pw—they’ve been more stable for me. But honestly, VPN is the move if you want consistency.
tpbproxy is hit or miss these days, man. I’ve had better luck with mirrors like thepiratebay10.org or tpb.party.

Also, check if your ISP is throttling. Try Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 DNS—sometimes that fixes the slowness.
Bro, just ditch tpbproxy and get a decent VPN. NordVPN or Mullvad + the .onion TPB link is bulletproof.

Proxies are too unreliable now, and some are sketchy af. VPNs encrypt your traffic too, so it’s safer overall.
tpbproxy used to be my jam, but it’s been trash recently. I’ve been using Tor Browser to access TPB’s onion site (uoj3vhyl3q6eq5lq.onion). No blocks, no slowdowns.

If you’re lazy, try unblocktorrent.com—it’s a mirror aggregator that updates frequently.
Not just you—tpbproxy has been flaky. Try switching to a different proxy URL like tpbproxy.uk or tpbproxy.xyz. Sometimes the old ones get overloaded.

But mirrors are better imo. tpb20.uk is my current favorite.
Thanks for the suggestions, guys! Tried the .onion link with Tor, and it’s working smooth so far.

Weirdly, tpbproxy.xyz loaded faster today, but I’ll probably switch to a VPN long-term. Anyone know if Surfshark is good for torrenting? Heard mixed things.
VPN + TPB onion site is the way to go. tpbproxy is too inconsistent now, and some mirrors are shady.

If you’re cheap, Windscribe has a free plan (10GB/month). Enough for occasional TPB browsing.
