"Does X-Browse Really Improve Privacy Compared to Mainstream Browsers?"

hey guys, been using X-Browse for a while now and i gotta ask—does it *actually* protect privacy better than chrome or firefox?

like, it claims no tracking and all, but how does it hold up in real use? anyone tested it with those privacy checker tools?

also, does it block ads and trackers by default or do u need extensions? kinda lazy to set stuff up lol.

curious if it’s worth switching or just hype. thx!

i switched to X-Browse last month and ran it through Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin.

it blocks most trackers by default, but i still added uBlock for extra ad blocking.

compared to Chrome? night and day. no Google spyware lol.

firefox is decent too, but X-Browse feels lighter and less cluttered.
honestly, it depends on how deep u wanna go. X-Browse is good for basic privacy, but if u want max protection, u gotta tweak it.

try checking it on EFF’s Cover Your Tracks tool—it scores better than Chrome but not as good as hardened Firefox.

still, for a no-setup option, it’s solid.
X-Browse is *okay*, but it’s not Tor. if u just wanna ditch Google, it’s a step up.

default settings block some trackers, but u might wanna add HTTPS Everywhere and Privacy Badger.

also, it’s way faster than Firefox with tons of tabs open.
used X-Browse for a week and compared it to Brave.

both block ads/trackers by default, but X-Browse feels less bloated.

downside? some sites break bc of aggressive blocking.

if u wanna test, use Panopticlick to see how unique your fingerprint is.
imo, X-Browse is overhyped. it’s just a reskinned Chromium with extra privacy settings.

u can get the same results in Firefox by tweaking about:config.

but if u don’t wanna mess with settings, X-Browse is an easy switch.
pro tip: pair X-Browse with a VPN if u really care about privacy.

on its own, it’s better than Chrome but not bulletproof.

tested it with Webkay—leaks less than Safari but still shows some info.
thx for the replies!

tried X-Browse with Panopticlick and it’s way better than Chrome. still leaks a bit tho.

gonna test Librewolf too since a few of u mentioned it.

also, does anyone know if X-Browse works with Chrome extensions? some of my must-haves are missing.
lol i just like X-Browse bc it’s not owned by a mega corp.

does it block everything? nah. but it’s a good middle ground between convenience and privacy.

try it with DuckDuckGo for extra anonymity.
if u’re lazy (like me), X-Browse is worth it.

default settings block most junk, and u don’t need extensions right away.

but for hardcore privacy, Librewolf is better. just sayin’.
