I've had decent luck with HideMyAss free proxy. It's not perfect, but it’s one of the better good free proxy server options out there.

Speed is okay for basic browsing, and it doesn’t bombard you with ads like some others. Just don’t expect it to handle heavy streaming or anything.

Tried Proxysite and it’s working pretty well so far. Still kinda slow, but at least it’s not crashing.

Anyone know if these work better on certain browsers? Or is it just luck of the draw?
