"Can a Browser in Browser Proxy Really Keep My Online Activity Anonymous?"

hey guys, so i’ve been testing a few browser in browser proxy setups lately, and i’m kinda skeptical.

like, they *claim* to keep you anonymous, but how much of that is just marketing? i’ve noticed some still leak IPs or get detected by sites.

anyone else tried these? do they actually work long-term, or is it just a temporary fix? also, which ones are the least sketchy?

would love to hear your experiences—especially if you’ve used a browser in browser proxy for stuff like streaming or logging into accounts.

thx!

(ps. pls no "just use a VPN" replies lol, i’m specifically asking about browser in browser proxy solutions.)
I’ve used a few browser in browser proxy services, and honestly, most are hit or miss. Some like Hidester or ProxySite work okay for basic browsing, but they’re not great for logging into accounts—sites often flag them.

If you’re serious about anonymity, you might wanna look into Tor over a browser in browser proxy. It’s slower but way more reliable.

For streaming? Forget it. Most get detected or throttle your speed.
yo, browser in browser proxies are kinda sketchy ngl. i tried a bunch and they all leaked my IP at some point.

if you’re just trying to bypass geo-blocks for like netflix or whatever, it’s a temp fix at best. but for real anonymity? nah.

some sites like kproxy or hide.me are *less* shady, but still not foolproof.
From my experience, browser in browser proxies are more about convenience than true anonymity. They might hide your IP from the site you’re visiting, but the proxy provider can still see everything.

If you’re worried about privacy, check out Whoer or Proxy4Free—they’re decent for light use. But don’t trust them with sensitive stuff.

Also, most free ones inject ads or sell your data, so… yeah.
browser in browser proxies are a mixed bag. some work fine for casual browsing, but they’re not gonna keep you anonymous long-term.

i’ve had luck with CroxyProxy for basic stuff, but it’s not perfect. sites like YouTube or Twitter sometimes block it.

if you’re trying to stay under the radar, you might need something heavier-duty.
thanks for all the replies, guys! super helpful.

i tried a couple of the ones mentioned (CroxyProxy and Hidester), and yeah, they’re hit or miss. CroxyProxy worked for a bit, but then got blocked on a site i was testing.

anyone know if there’s a browser in browser proxy that doesn’t get detected as fast? or is it just a losing battle?

also, good point about the malware—almost downloaded a sketchy one earlier. yikes.
Honestly, browser in browser proxies are more for bypassing filters at school/work than actual anonymity. They’re too easy to detect.

I’d recommend trying Psiphon if you want something a bit more robust, but even that’s not 100%.

For logging into accounts? Bad idea. You’re just asking for a ban.
yeah, browser in browser proxies are kinda meh. they work for a quick fix, but don’t expect them to keep you anonymous.

i’ve used ProxFree before, and it’s okay for like 10 minutes of browsing. but anything more than that, and you’re rolling the dice.

also, a lot of them are packed with malware, so be careful.
If you’re testing browser in browser proxies, you might wanna check out FilterBypass or VPNBook’s web proxy. They’re not perfect, but they’re better than most.

That said, anonymity is hard to achieve with these. They’re more for unblocking sites than hiding your tracks.

For streaming, you’re better off with a dedicated VPN, even if you didn’t wanna hear that lol.
