"Does Anyone Know a Fast and Accurate Socks Proxy Checker?"

Hey guys,

I’ve been testing a bunch of socks proxy checkers lately, but half of them either timeout or give me false positives. Super annoying, right?

Anyone got a solid recommendation for one that’s *actually* fast and accurate? Like, something that doesn’t take forever to scan and actually catches dead proxies?

Bonus points if it’s free or at least doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Thanks in advance!

"Why Does My Socks Proxy Checker Keep Giving False Results?"

Ugh, so frustrated rn.

My socks proxy checker keeps saying proxies are live when they’re clearly not. Tried different tools, same issue.

Is it just me, or are these things kinda hit or miss? Maybe I’m missing a setting or something?

How do you guys verify your proxies? Manual checks? A different tool? Pls help before I lose my mind lol.

"Looking for a Reliable Socks Proxy Checker – Any Recommendations?"

Yo,

Need a socks proxy checker that doesn’t suck. Tried a few, but either they’re slow af or miss half the dead proxies.

What’s your go-to? Free or paid, doesn’t matter as long as it works.

Also, how do you even test if a socks proxy checker is reliable? Like, what’s your method?

Cheers!
I feel your pain! I've been using ProxyScrape's socks proxy checker, and it's been pretty solid for me.

It's fast, catches dead proxies most of the time, and the free version is decent.

Only downside is it limits bulk checks, but for smaller batches, it works great.

Have you tried it?
Bro, same issue here.

Most socks proxy checkers are trash—either too slow or give false positives.

I switched to Spys.one's checker, and it’s been way more reliable.

Not free, but worth it if you need accuracy.

Also, manual checks with cURL can help verify if the tool’s lying.
Honestly, I gave up on free tools.

Paid ones like Luminati’s socks proxy checker are way better.

Yeah, it’s pricey, but if you’re serious about proxies, it’s a game-changer.

For free, maybe try Proxy-List’s checker? It’s hit or miss but better than nothing.
False positives are the worst!

I found that most socks proxy checkers fail because they don’t test actual connectivity.

Now I use a combo of ProxyNova’s checker + a simple Python script to double-check.

Annoying, but it works.

Anyone else coding their own checks?
Yo, try InstantProxies’ checker.

It’s not perfect, but it’s faster than most and catches dead proxies better than the free junk out there.

Also, make sure your timeout settings aren’t too low—that can cause false positives.
Thanks for the recs, guys!

Gonna try ProxyScrape and Spys.one first.

Quick Q—anyone know if these work well with rotating proxies?

My list is huge, and some checkers choke on it.

Also, +1 for the Python script idea—might steal that lol.
Man, I feel this.

Most socks proxy checkers are garbage.

I ended up building my own with ScraperAPI’s tools.

Not for everyone, but if you’re techy, it’s worth it.

Otherwise, ProxyRack’s free checker is *okay* for quick scans.
