"Looking for the Best Proxies – Any Recommendations?"
Hey everyone,
I’ve been digging around for the best proxies that actually deliver on speed, security, AND reliability. So many options out there, but half of ‘em seem sketchy or just plain slow.
Anyone got real-world experience with providers that don’t suck?
Looking for something stable, preferably with good uptime and decent speeds for scraping/browsing. Bonus if they’re not crazy expensive.
Also, any tips on avoiding the ones that overpromise and underdeliver? Seen too many "best proxies" claims that turn out to be trash lol.
Thanks in advance!
I've been using Bright Data for a while now, and they're solid for speed and reliability. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Their residential proxies are legit for scraping, and uptime is pretty consistent.
If you're looking for best proxies that don't crap out mid-session, these guys are worth checking out. Just avoid their cheapest plan—it’s kinda limited.
Also, watch out for providers that don’t offer trial periods. That’s usually a red flag.
Yo, I swear by Oxylabs. Their proxies are fast af and rarely get blocked. Perfect for heavy scraping.
A bit pricey, but if you need the best proxies for serious work, it’s a no-brainer. Their support is also top-notch if you run into issues.
Pro tip: Always test a small batch before committing. Some providers sell recycled IPs that get banned instantly.
Luminati (now Bright Data) was my go-to, but lately, I’ve switched to Smartproxy. Way more affordable and still decent speeds.
Not *the* fastest, but for the price, it’s one of the best proxies I’ve used. Their rotating IPs are great for browsing without getting flagged.
Avoid any provider that doesn’t list their IP sources. Sketchy as hell.
If you’re on a budget, try Soax. They’re not as flashy as the big names, but their residential proxies get the job done.
Speed’s okay, but reliability is where they shine. I’ve had fewer drops compared to some "best proxies" that overhype their service.
Just don’t fall for those "unlimited bandwidth" claims. Always check the fine print.
Honestly, most proxy providers are hit or miss. I’ve had good luck with GeoSurf for geo-specific needs. Their IPs are clean, and speeds are consistent.
Not the cheapest, but if you need location accuracy, they’re one of the best proxies for that niche.
Biggest tip: Look for providers with transparent pricing. Hidden fees are a scam.
For scraping, you gotta try NetNut. Their datacenter proxies are stupid fast, and I’ve barely had any captcha issues.
A bit pricier, but if you need speed and reliability, they’re up there with the best proxies.
Avoid free or dirt-cheap options—they’re almost always garbage.
Wow, thanks for all the recs! Definitely gonna check out Bright Data and Smartproxy first.
Quick question though—anyone have experience with rotating vs. static proxies for scraping? I’ve heard mixed things about which works better for avoiding bans.
Also, big shoutout for the tip about trial periods. Almost got suckered into a yearly plan without testing lol. Appreciate the help!
I’ve tested a ton, and Proxy-Seller is a hidden gem. Cheap, reliable, and decent speeds. Not the *best* proxies out there, but great for the price.
Their support is kinda slow, though. If you need help ASAP, might wanna look elsewhere.
Always check Trustpilot reviews before buying. Saved me from a few scams.
